Stopped here trying to get something different. And we did. Firstly, there is no direction as to how things work here. We walked in the door and stood there for a few minutes and weren't even spoken to by any of the staff. As there are no signs like "please seat yourself" "Order at the window" nothing. So we sat down at a table. After waiting a few minutes there, I walk back up front to the window and stood patiently for a minute or two as no one spoke again. I finally got someone's attention and asked if we needed to order up front or sit down to be served. We ordered at the window and they brought the food out to us. We were told that they only come by to refill your drinks. We got steak fried steak instead of chicken fried steak. They fixed it with no real concern for our inconvenience or an apology. Catfish was good but very greasy as were the hush puppies. Manager walked by our table several times to help her young son with a toy machine in the back of the restaurant and never acknowledged us or the empty drink glasses on the edge of the table. The young boy was banging on and yelling at the machine that he was having a problem working. Not a good atmosphere to have dinner. Chicken fried steak was good Mac and cheese was good too. I would suggest food to go and stay away from their fried food except the potato curls which were very good.

Nothing worth the effort the Bbq sandwich was a messy, greasy mess,  thank god I didn't get it to go but on a bright note, the Dr. Pepper was really cold

We stopped on our way home to NWA from Little Rock on the recommendation of my in-laws, and we were not disappointed. I had the catfish dinner and it was delicious. Catfish was clearly fried to order, perfectly cooked and breaded. Hush puppies and fries were also very tasty. My husband had the steak sandwich and while it wasn't exactly what he expected, he still thoroughly enjoyed it. If you're in the mood for a soda, get the root beer!

I would leave zero stars if possible. Burgers were swimming in grease, they forgot half our order. BEWARE - monkeys could give you better service.
    We won't return.

Good place to get old-fashioned diner meals. The hamburger steak meal is my favorite. The barbecue is done on premises and very good.
My only complaint and the reason it doesn't get all 5 stars is because you have to pay for refills on drinks. They're pretty stuffed with ice and go down quickly on a hot day. Want a refill? Unlike most places, you must go to the counter and pay for it. The prices aren't on the cheap side, anyway, although they aren't horrible. But they're high enough that dining room refills should be free.
